Use a foam brush to paint a noisemaker with gray paint. Be sure to paint each wood side of the noisemaker and the handle, too. Let dry completely.

While the paint is drying, untie the knot on one of the unpainted noisemakers and use a pen to trace around one of the circles on a red or pink foam craft sheet.

Cut two half circle shapes along the straight edge of the gray craft foam. Trim the straight side of each half circle so it curves a bit like the other side, then glue onto the lower left and lower right sides of the shark.

Use a white chalk pen to draw small teeth along the top and bottom of the shark mouth. Glue two googly eyes and the mouth onto the front of the shark noisemaker. Be sure to space out the shark's eyes a little wide so it looks more like a real shark.

To make the dorsal fin, cut out a tall triangle from gray foam and then glue it onto the top of the shark.
Now it's play time! These shark noisemakers are great to use as puppets and make a fun clapping noise when they are shaken back and forth.
