Begin by removing the ribbon around the Sun Hat With Solid Band by pulling through one of the holes. Place this to the side as you will need it later. Place the sun hat directly in front of you and begin writing your first letter with the E6000 Craft Adhesive Glue. If you are unsure of your cursive sketch the letters out lightly in pencil as a guide.

Unroll the end of the Gold Sequin Trim in one hand and press it onto the sun hat following the pattern of the glue. Move slowly and work letter by letter. By rushing ahead and writing too many letters in glue you run the risk of the glue drying too quickly and of your hand brushing the glue, creating a mess.

Once you have completed the first word cut the Gold Sequin Trim and secure to the hat with a dab of E6000 Craft Adhesive Glue. It is easier to use the entire roll of trim and cut once you finish a word rather than cutting sections for each letter. Repeat steps 1-2 for the remaining words.

Finish your hat by adding a bit of flair on top! Add a few drops of glue to the ribbon that we removed in step 1. Carefully wrap the ribbon around the crown of the hat and tie it in a bow.

You can create this cute hat in under an hour and it makes a great gift for a bride to be! To see the whole party where this hat made its debut take a look at my: Flamingo Poolside Bachelorette Pool Party, DIY Leaf Backdrop and my frose cocktail recipe.
