I wanted the bulletin board to have a farmhouse style feel to it, so I started by putting Fadeless® White Shiplap Bulletin Board Paper Roll on the back of the bulletin board. I am in love with how this paper looks!

The White Tassel Garland reminded me of llama fur so I thought it would be fun to add it to the bulletin board! I stapled each tassel to the top of the bulletin board and then cut off the garland. I did this before I put on the borders so that the tassels would pop out from under them.

Layering borders adds great dimension to a bulletin board. I wanted to use borders that would complement the farmhouse style, so I decided to layer the Dotted Swirl Chalkboard Bulletin Board Border with White Scalloped Bulletin Board Borders. I taped the white border to the back of the chalkboard border before attaching it to the board.

I put my title in the middle of the board, so that I could put the crafts around it. I used the Black Bulletin Board Letters to make the "School is a LLAMA Fun!" title. I used uppercase letters for the word LLAMA so that the play on words would stand out on the board.

The last thing I did on the bulletin board was attach the Llama Back to School Writing prompts and Free Llama Craft Printables all around the board. You can read about how to make these and get the free printable (available for grades K-6) here! I love how this llama bulletin board turned out! It's perfect for back to school!
