Take the backing off of the Rectangular Chalkboard Sticker and place one end of the sucker stick directly in the middle. Fold over the stick and press to seal. Cut into any triangular shape to make more into a flag shape.
Write a note or draw a little picture onto the chalkboard sticker.
Place a cube of bread onto the stick and push up until it rests right below the sticker. Then skewer a slice of turkey, tomato, cheese, slice of ham, cucumber then another cube of bread.
Make each kabob a little different to give a little variety. You can also use any ingredients that you know your child will love.

The flags add a super fun touch to the kid's lunches, but it's also nice to include a personalized note. Every child needs a little extra encouragement throughout the school day. I know my boys love it when they open up their lunches and find some extra love from me using these Painted Palette Poppy Red Apple Cutouts. I keep them on hand, along with a black marker, in the same drawer as I have my sandwich bags. This way it's easy to write up a little note and slip it into their lunch bag.
