Paint your Wooden Trinket Box using a foam brush and white acrylic paint. Set aside and allow to dry.

Once your paint is dry, use sand paper to distress your box. Focus on sanding down the edges, corners, and a little bit all over to give your box a more rustic look.

Use wood glue to adhere your raw wooden heart to the top of the box.

And voila! A sweet rustic ring bearer box! So darling, right?
But what about the inside? Fear not! I’ve got an idea for that, too!

Cut your burlap into a strip that’s about 2.75″ wide. Then fold the strip into thirds and place it gently into your box.

Next, you’ll stitch your ribbon to attach it to your burlap.

Finally, you can tie the rings onto the ribbon and tie into a bow and use your scissors to trim the excess ribbon.

I just love these beautiful ring bearer boxes, and I hope that they inspire you to take on this simple project for your own big day! These would make a sweet keepsake box to use in your home after the big day, too! Hope you enjoyed this project — happy planning!
