Use scissors to cut Cotton Rickrack Trim into small strips measuring anywhere for 3 inches to 6 inches. You'll need 15-20 pieces to get this look, but feel free to cut more if you'd like to cover the entire runner with stripes. We focused just on the ends of our own runner for a punctuated vibe.

Lay your strips flat on an ironing board and cover them entirely with a thin towel or fabric scrap. Iron the strips (keeping the towel or scrap fabric in between) on low for 30-40 seconds. Note: If you place the hot iron directly on top of the rickrack trim it melts, so the towel protects the strips from overheating.

Use Aleene's Original Tacky Glue to glue the ironed rickrack strips to a White Metallic Linen Table Runner in a fun random striped pattern. Allow the strips to dry for 30 minutes on the runner before handling. Trim off any overhanging edges of the trim to match the edge of the runner.

To complete the look on your dinner table, lay the DIY Geometric Rickrack Table Runner on top of a Rectangle Polyester Tablecloth, and style around it with Wood Pattern Chargers, Clear Patterned Plastic Wine Glasses, Premium Metallic Gold Cutlery, White Premium Plastic Dinner Plates with Rose Gold Edging, and a vase with greenery or flowers.
