Begin by painting four DIY Unfinished Wood Banner Squares a very pale shade of coral.

Next, spell out the word "baby" with natural wood letters and paint them a shade of blue-green. At the same time, count out two large, six medium and five small wood beads. Paint the two large and six medium beads the same blue-green as the letters. Paint the two medium beads coral and the five small beads yellow. Tip: insert a cotton swab into one end of the beads to hold them in place to keep your fingers paint-free while you paint.

Create two 3" tassels with light pink or coral yarn. Begin by wrapping the yarn around a 3" piece of wood or cardboard 30 times. Be sure to leave the beginning and end portions of the yarn approximately 5" when you finish. After cutting the string, pull each of the ends under the wrapped yarn one time and tie them in a tight knot at the top of the wood/cardboard piece.

Slip the wrapped yarn off the piece of wood/cardboard and cut the looped end to create the tasseled fringe. Cut an additional 3" piece of yarn to tie around the top to create the "head" of the tassel. Knot tightly and trim. Next, thread one small yellow, one large green and one medium coral bead onto the end of each of the tassels.

Take two DIY Unfinished Wood Disks outdoors and carefully cut each of the disks into two even pieces using a small hand saw. Once the disks have been cut, lightly sketch a total of four arcs directly onto the wood.

Begin painting the rainbow, filling in every other arc with varying shades of coral and yellow.

Once the paint has dried, use hot glue to adhere each rainbow to the center of each of the four wood banner pieces. Next, affix one painted wooden letter to the center of each of the rainbows using hot glue.

Now the banner is ready to be strung onto creme-colored yarn. String the yarn through each of the banner pieces, adding two medium blue-green and one small yellow bead in between each of the banners. Finish by tying one coral yarn tassel to each end of the banner.
