Cover your bulletin board using a Fadeless Art Black Paper Roll. I love to use this paper because it looks great all year long! I have large windows that the sun tends to fade so using this paper is a must for me! A great tip for anyone new to putting up a bulletin board is to know that it is okay if the paper doesn't cover the whole board. Your borders will cover it up. I feel like this is something that should be taught in college!

Layer your favorite borders on top of the black paper using a stapler. I decided to use the Loop-De- Loop, Black & White Striped, and Purple Polka Dots Borders. I wanted to add a little bit of a subtle fall color and this purple worked perfectly!

Now it's time to add decorations! Layer a mixture of Tissue Paper Pom-Poms and hanging paper fans to the top of the board using a stapler. I normally stick to one or the other but really love how this turned out! There are endless options of colors and patterns that could be mixed and matched here. Using Mavalus Tape, attach a Schoolgirl Style Bulletin Board Tassel to a School Girl Style Pom. Attach both pieces to a Hanging Paper Fan using another piece of tape.

Print out the free bulletin board letters here. I decided to print each letter on white paper. I then glued each letter to a colored piece of construction paper then cut around the letter's outline to create a colored border. I wanted to add a little "pop" but still have the look of all white letters. I really love how it turned out!

There are many great pumpkin-themed craft options available that could be added to this board. I used the Goofy Face Pumpkin Magnet Craft Kits to put a smile on my students' faces! If you want to create a board with student work, check out the All About Pumpkins Writing Prompt Craft. Add in School Girl Style Arrow Bulletin Board Cutouts for an extra touch.
Now you have a fall themed bulletin board that can stay up until it's time for winter!
