
Download and print out the pumpkin template. Trace the template on a piece of cardboard for the back of your book. Draw a pumpkin stem at the top of the traced pumpkin. Then use scissors to cut out the cardboard pumpkin. Download the Free Pumpkin Template Printable here!

Now trace the pumpkin template six times on orange cardstock paper. Cut out each of the orange pumpkins.

Align all of the orange cardstock pumpkins together with the template on top. Cut along the dashed lines of the template to create three sections out of the pumpkins.

Use a hole punch to punch a hole on the left side of each of the pumpkin pieces. When you are finished punching a hole in one section piece, use that piece to align it with the other pieces to make sure to punch the hole in the same spot.

Punch holes in the cardboard pumpkin that align with the three sections of the template. Use metal binder rings to connect the orange sections to the cardboard pumpkin.

Open up the six different faces included in the pumpkin decorating kit. You'll find some fun jack-o-lantern faces, a vampire, Frankenstein and even a spooky cat.

Remove the backing off the foam stickers of the pumpkin decorating kits and place them on the different sections of the flip book. Place the eyes, eyebrows and any hair on the top section. Place the noses on the middle section. Then place the mouths on the bottom section of the flip book.



Now it's time for play. Kids can flip through the different pages of the book, combining the different features of each of the faces to create some silly pumpkin faces. Be sure to also check out the video to see how to make the pumpkin funny faces flip book!
