Choose your pom poms. You can use any color and size combination you would like from the bag of pom poms. I went with the medium sized colorful pom poms and smaller white pom poms in between each colored one. I chose colors that coordinated with my Modern Adult Cocktail Party.

Cut out your letters. You have a few options here. If you have a die cut machine then you can use the construction paper or cardstock to cut out your letters. You can also use stencils or pre-cut letters from your local craft store.

Thread the needle with the twine. This part was a little tricky, but it went through with some patience.

Start to thread your pom poms in the order you want them. You can create a pattern or place them in a random order. I chose to do the same pattern on each side of the word cheers. Make sure to place the needle through the center so the pom poms hang evenly.

Thread your letters through. I chose to thread through on the top. You could also thread through the middle. Repeat threading the pom poms on the other side of the letters. Remove your needle and your DIY Pom Pom Garland is ready to hang.

Now your party has another adorable decor element that you made by yourself!
