Start by laying a lifesize posable skeleton on a flat surface.
Add yarn pom-poms, starting at the top of the skeleton and working your way down. Adhere the pom-poms to the skeleton with a dab of hot glue on the back. I love these pre-made yarn pom-poms because they come in a variety of vibrant colors and are a huge time saver over making your own! I used a package of dark pink, light blue, orange, purple, and green pom-poms. While I love the look of the yarn pom-poms, you could also use craft pom-poms. This 1 lb. of pom-poms has a wide variety of colors and sizes for your skeleton.
Use smaller pom-poms for the ribs and larger pom-poms for the arms. The packs of yarn pom-poms come with a mix of large and small sizes. You can add the pom-poms randomly, or get creative by making a colorful pattern on your skeleton. Add a couple pom-pom eyes if you like!
Don't forget to decorate the legs! I used a mix of large and small pom-poms, spacing them about an inch apart.
Display your amazing new pom-pom skeleton. If you want, you can use craft supplies to make him some friends, such as these Bejeweled DIY Skeleton and Yarn-Bombed Skeleton too!
