Create your own table centerpieces with this fun Pink & Gold Tulle Centerpiece Idea. The perfect addition to your party supplies, this DIY centerpiece is easy to make with the directions below. A fun craft for kids and adults to complete together, use the finished centerpieces for birthday and graduation parties, baby showers and wedding receptions.
1. Apply a thin layer of Mod Podge® around the bottom of a mason jar. While the Mod Podge® is still wet, apply gold glitter and shake off excess. Allow to dry.
2. Cut an inch off of each side of the ‘unfluffed’ tulle pom-poms. Fluff the tulle pom-poms and glue on a paper straw. Tie lengths of ribbon around the paper straws to decorate.
3. Insert the paper straws and gold wands into the mason jar cutting the straws and wands to the desired lengths.
Tip: To give the paper straws more height, cut a length of straw the length you would like to add. Carefully cut a slit in the straw. Apply a line of glue inside the cut straw and insert the extra length onto the original paper straw.
