Begin by adding 2-3 coats of White Acrylic Paint to four DIY Square Flowerpots. Allow each the paint to dry in between coats for maximum coverage.

While you’re waiting for the DIY Square Flowerpots to dry, you can grab the DIY Alphabet Banner and find the letters to spell “BABY”. Trim the hanging bulletin board portion of the letters so you are left with just the natural looking letters.

Add a few coats of Blue Acrylic Paint to each letter and allow to dry.

Now that the Flowerpots are dry, it’s time to add some detailing! Take a handful of Natural Moss and place it into the decorated Flowerpot.

Trim a 4-5 row section from the Light Blue Gingham Tablecloth Roll and wrap it around the center of the Flowerpot and adhere in the back with a drop of Hot Glue. Trim a piece of Orange Ribbon in the same length and center it on top of the strip of Gingham Tablecloth and Glue.

Your painted letters should now be dry, so it’s time to put them on the bamboo skewers. Depending on the length of the skewers, you may need to trim them. We simply cut ours in half and used both pieces on either side of the letters to hold it in place. Add a small line of hot glue to the back of each letter (so it won’t be seen) and adhere the bamboo skewer.

All that’s left to do is place each letter into its very own Moss-filled Flowerpot spelling out the word “BABY”!
We love how it incorporated both the color scheme and the garden feel of this event.
