When I first saw these bird themed cupcake wrappers with picks, I knew they would be perfect to decorate the party cupcakes. To add more color to the picks and make them larger, I found this pack of yellow die cut shapes that included a yellow polka-dot scalloped circle that was the perfect size to use as a backer to the cupcake picks. Simply place a piece of double-sided tape to the die cut shape then center the pick in the middle of the die cut circle and press down to attach. Place each cupcake inside the cupcake wrapper.

Next, create a personalized tag for each guest. There are straw flag die cut shapes included in the yellow die cut shapes pack. Fold them in half and write each guest’s first name on one side. Place a mini Glue-Dot® close to the inside fold of the straw flag then wrap it around the stick of the bird swirl pops right under the bird and press together to adhere. Continue to do this for all of your guests.

Now, its time to assemble! Place a personalized bird lollipop stick and the flower cupcake pick into the top of each cupcake. Display each cupcake on its own mini cupcake pedestal then place one at each place setting. Then the fun begins! I like to let my daughter pick out where her guests will sit. She loves doing this. I’m sure your kids will love it too.
