Use a ruler to determine the exact dimensions of the inner bottom surface of your first Scalloped Edge Tray. Lightly trace the dimensions onto a sheet of White Paper Stock with a pencil and ruler.

Cut the traced paper shape out of the card stock using scissors. Repeat Steps 1-2 for each of the three trays that come in the set. Each will be a different size, ranging between small, medium, and large.

Lay the cut pieces of paper on a flat work surface. Draw different designs on the cut paper using Prismacolor French Gray Markers. This particular tutorial demonstrates how you can use the fine tip end of the markers to create a random polka dot pattern and line drawing, whereas the opposite chiseled end of the markers can be used to create curved confetti-like shapes. You can practice your designs on scrap paper before actually drawing on the measured and cut pieces of paper you created in Step 2.

Flip the pattered paper sheets over on a clean, dry work surface. Add Clear Glue Dots to the corners and middle sections of the paper. The more dots you use, the stronger its hold will be on the tray!

Lay the patterned paper sheets, glue dots down, into the scalloped trays. Press the paper down along the entire tray with your finger tips, and then you're done—no need to wait for glue to dry!
