Paint the craft roll with the acrylic paint. We chose red, blue and silver paint. The red and blue craft rolls only took 2 coats of paint. The silver craft roll took 3-4 coats of paint. Allow the paint to dry.

Using a round object (we use a small flower pot), trace around the flower pot to make a circle. Trace on the back of the self adhesive foam sheet. Cut out the circle and cut a small triangle out of the circle. It will look like Pac Man! This circle will become the cone for the top of the rocket ship. Our circle was approximately 4″.
Cut out three claw like shapes from the regular foam sheets. Using the scissors cut three slits around the bottom of the craft roll; evenly spaced. Cut small slits in the top of the foam claw like pieces (see photos).

Insert the small foam pieces into the slits you cut on the craft roll.

Time to decorate your rocket ship! Grab fun shapes from the large foam assortment. I loved this mix because there were suns, moons, stars and so much more!
