Paint the white paper plate purple. Let dry.

Trace a paper plate onto white construction paper using a pencil. Cut out the circle and trim a small pie size slice from your circle. Paint the circle with the purple acrylic paint. Let the paper dry. Wrap the paper into a small cone shape and use clear tape to hold the cone in place.

Trace the bottom of your cone onto the purple paper plate that you painted in Step 1. Using a craft knife, cut a small circle slightly smaller than the traced circle you just made. Cut the circle from the purple paper plate. Cut small slits into the cone shape along the bottom. Insert the cone hat through the base of the purple paper plate and use clear tape to hold the cone in place. Apply a thin layer of the green glitter glue to the witch hat. Make sure to have an adult do the steps using the craft knife.

Apply white Elmer's® glue around the cone on top of the witch hat. Crumple black tissue paper squares and press into the glue around the cone.

Decorate the paper plate witch hat with Halloween decals or foam stickers. Punch a small hole on both sides of the hat and attach ribbon.

Kids will have so much fun showing off their witch hat and all the creativity they put into it.
