Trace a "u" shape onto one side of the paper plate to create the visor shape. Use scissors to cut out the shape you have traced. Paint each visor with the bright tropical acrylic paint. Tempura paint works as well, I have just found that you get better coverage with acrylic. With a small hole punch, punch out one hole on each side of the visor cut out.

Once the paint has dried, decorate! My son Evan used the fun bug stamps and markers to decorate his paper plate visor. Annie loved the jewel flowers and rhinestones.

Take ribbon and tie a piece to each side of the visors. There you have it! Your very own summertime visor.
