Thread your sewing machine and matching bobbin according to your machine’s manual. Be sure to sew with a new needle or a needle you would use as a “paper only” needle. Thread tension and stitch length will be determined by your machine and personal preference.

Leave about 10″ of thread out of the needle and bobbin. Place a paint chip circle under the presser foot.



Begin sewing down the middle of the circles, placing a paint chip circle directly after the last circle under the presser foot. Repeat until the length of garland has been achieved. Leave about 10 inches of thread out of the needle and bobbin.
TIP: Determine the color pattern before you start sewing. Sort the circles by colors for easy assembly. To be sure that the garland does not get tangled, wind the garland around a scrap piece of cardboard while sewing.
