Begin by swirling together a small amount of green and blue paint and then dab it onto the metal and wooden portion of a paintbrush from the easel paintbrush set.

While the paint is still wet and using the same paintbrush, add in a few strokes of unmixed blue and light green paint. Repeat this step using white and a darker green paint as well. Using these different hues while the paint is still wet will give the paintbrush a beautiful, watery appearance.

Using the smallest, thinnest paintbrush from the Plaid Paintbrush Set, add in a few, thin lines of purple paint to add a bit of depth. Allow to dry.

Once the paint has dried, add a few small strokes of Mod Podge and then cover with tiny pieces of gold foil. After letting it set for a few minutes, take a clean paintbrush and brush away any excess foil.

Now, onto the place cards! We made ours with white cardstock using a cutting machine and our favor tag template. Once the tags are cut, write the name of your guests on each tag and then adorn it with a bit of gold foil in the same manner you did for the paintbrush.

Lastly, hot glue a small piece of hydrangea berry spray to the place card and then glue the place card to the paintbrush and then place a paintbrush place card at each setting!
