Open a word processing program that you have on your computer (like Word or Pages). Type out each party guest's name in your favorite font. Print out the names onto regular paper so that each name is a little smaller than a hexagon acrylic place card. Cut around each name with scissors.
Place one of the names underneath a hexagon place card. Use a permanent gold marker to trace over the name. Remove the paper from underneath and let the name dry. Repeat for every guest name.
Turn each place card over so the back is facing up. Paint some gold glitter paint evenly across the back of each place card.
Gently press the place card with the sticky paint side down onto a black napkin. Let the paint dry. Once dry, the hexagon will be stuck to the napkin and will give the place card a nice black background. Use scissors to cut around the hexagon right along the edge.
Center a place card on each guest's plate for your Oscars Night Party so guests know where to sit. For even more sparkle, trace a circle shape (like a bowl or a container) onto a piece of glitter card stock. Place underneath the place card for some Hollywood glamour!
