Paint the DIY Unfinished Wood Egg Cups with craft paint and a foam brush. I used pastel colors of Apple Barrel® Acrylic Paint, but you could also use washable tempera paint.

Cut small pieces of raffia ribbon to place inside the egg cup. You'll want the pieces to be long enough to poke out the sides and look like a nest. Secure the raffia strands inside the cup with Aleene's® Quick Dry Tacky Glue® or hot glue.

Place a large yarn pom-pom inside the nest. This will be the chick!

Cut a beak from orange cardstock and glue it to the yarn pom-pom along with a pair of small googly eyes.

Finish by gluing a band of pastel rickrack ribbon around your egg cup.

Aren't these so cute? This is a fun spring activity to do with friends or family and you can display all your chicks together!
