Using a paintbrush, paint the lace with a gold metallic paint. This gives a gorgeous gold tint and stiffens the lace nicely.
Place a small strip of double-sided tape on one side of the pillow box. Then cut the lace into a strip that can be wrapped around the pillow box. Approx 9 inches in length to have some overlap. Wrap around the box and secure onto the double-sided tape. Add additional double-sided tape as needed.
Cut the Purple Personalized Ribbon into strips that can be tied around the body of the pillow box. Cut approx 12 inches in length to allow for a neat bow to be tied. Tie around the pillow box, and into a small bow at the bottom of the box.
Tip: Place the personalized message facing upwards on the center of the top side of the pillow box. Hold this in place while you turn the box over and tie the ribbon on the bottom of the box.
Gently push the flaps in to close one end of the pillow box Then place chocolates or another sweet treat inside. Close the remaining end of the box.
Finally, place your Navy, Purple and Gold DIY Favor Box onto your place setting. Add a single Natural Peacock Feather next to the box to further emphasize the color palette.
