On a 8.5x11" piece of white card stock paper, use a black sharpie to draw the outline of the house. In the center of the house shape, draw the cross and fill in the remaining space with lines to create the stained-glass pattern.
Tip: using the black sharpie, make thick black lines. The thicker the lines, the thicker the borders will be in your finished craft.

With the help and permission of an adult, place a large black piece of card stock on a cutting board. Lay the drawing you've just created on top of the black card stock paper. Carefully cut out the shapes with a craft knife making sure to leave the thick black borders.

Remove what remains of the white card stock template. Gently press to pop out the shapes on the black card stock.
Hint: if your blade is not sharp, the paper will have frayed edges.

Place a piece of wax paper over the template. Chop up the neon crayons into small pieces and sprinkle them on the wax paper over your design. Lay an additional piece of wax paper over the crayons. Melt the crayons with a warm iron. Press gently on the wax paper with an iron, under the supervision of an adult.

After the crayon has cooled off, place the design on top and trim off excess wax paper. Staple or tacky glue the wax paper to the back of your template. Hang this beautiful melted crayon stained-glass cross in a window with lots of sunshine!
