Spray paint the mason jars with white primer paint. Make sure to have an adult do the priming. Once the primer has dried, paint over the primer with pink acrylic paint. Use a small round cookie cutter to trace and cut out the snout of the pig on pink self-adhesive foam. Paint a thin layer of white Elmer's® glue on the pink circle and sprinkle with glitter. Shake off any excess glitter. Cut two small black circles for the pig's nostrils using the self-adhesive foam. Peel off the backing of the glittery snout and stick to the mason jar. Add the black circles to the snout.

Cut two pink triangles from the foam and paint on a thin layer of white Elmer's® glue and sprinkle the ears with glitter. Glue the pig's ears on the rim of the jar. Next, stick glue dots to the back of the googly eyes and place on the mason jar.

Trace the lid of the jar onto pink construction paper. You will want the pink circle to fit inside of the mason jar lid. Cut out a small rectangle in the center of the pink circle for the money. We laminated the pink circle to make it more durable. You can also try using packing tape. Place the pink circle on the inside of the lid and glue in place.

Take a pink chenille stem (pipe cleaner) and twist it around your finger to make the piggy tail. Hot glue the tail to the back of the mason jar. Make sure to have an adult help with the hot glue.

Now you have the perfect piggy bank for your little ones to start saving up!
