Make Your Own Fairy Tale Books

For our recent fairy tale playdate, it was only fitting that the kids were able to write their own! I’m always amazed at kids’ imaginations and this is a great project to let them shine! These sturdy hardbound story writing books with room for drawing and writing on each page are perfect for young authors to decorate and write out their stories. The kids were able to start their books at the play date and take them home to finish them!

30 to 40 min. Intermediate

Step 1

Use the Sharpie® markers to write a title on the cover of your book.

Step 2

Decorate with stickers. These foam princess shapes worked great! You can also use extra stickers from the fairy tale sticker scenes.

Step 3

Now for the fun part – write your story! Each child had a set of mini markers to use for the inside of their books. They looked especially cute corralled in the princess carriage treat boxes.

Step 4
