Tape off area on wood panel that you would like to paint.
Paint the section and make sure not to go over the tape area! Let dry for 20 minutes. You do not need a thick coat of paint.
Once paint is dry, peel the tape off.
Using baker’s twine (use an embroidery needle for easy threading), string wood beads or spools – about 15 or 20 in between each wood square panel piece. I made two separate garlands and hung together. You could even add adhesive letters or stickers to the panels that spell “Spring”.
