First, construct the Backdrop Banner Frame by following the included instructions. This is a snap and lock system that literally takes minutes to build.
Wrap White Tulle around the sides of the bar and across the top bar of the Banner Frame. This softens the hard lines of the frame while adding a romantic touch.
Next, wrap the Faux Eucalyptus Greenery Garland across the top of the Banner Frame. I used the holes in the corners of the frame to stick the ends of the garland into, which secured it perfectly! Alternatively, use ribbon or string.
Then continue adding greenery by wrapping an Ivy Garland around the side poles and adding more of the White Tulle or white chiffon to soften the greens.
Now for a pop of violet. Wrap Purple Tulle around the top and side bars.
Now to spray some of the greenery (I used Faux Succulent Picks, Large Palm Leaves and more) a chic modern rose gold. I love this metallic addition. It adds glamour and texture to the whole look.
Prepare the florals for the top corners of the arch. Arrange the metallic leaves with assorted faux violet and purple blooms. Grouping multiple blooms in a central arrangement for each of the corners.
Add longer hanging stems from the bottom of the grouping to flow down the side pole of the frame. Tie these together using Purple Sheer Ribbon. Finally, take the wire stems and bend the stems to make a U-shape hook.
Hang the hook over the corner of the frame. At this point, you can add additional blooms or leaves to get the look you want. Hang by their stems or tie into the arrangement with ribbon.
The soft flowy fabrics work well with this green, vivid violet and rose gold arrangement, adding to the drama & romance of the big day.
Your DIY Floral & Greenery Arch is now complete. This arch will look absolutely stunning over, your dessert table. You could also use this arch as an altar, ceremony arch, photo backdrop or entrance to your wedding reception.
Complete the look and add a touch of whimsy by hanging my DIY Wedding Cake Swing from the arch. You can also add my Marbled Donuts with Gold Gilding & Edible Flowers to the swing as an alternative to the cake! Make sure to check out my Pantone Ultra Violet Wedding for more inspiration.
