Begin by removing the handles of the Black Candy Buckets and painting them gold, along with the Horseshoe Charms. Next, paint the Black Candy Buckets green. I chose a minty green color to coordinate with my pastel party theme.
Once the handles and buckets have dried, replace the handles and add a few Self-Adhesive Rhinestone Jewels around the top of the bucket.
Next, print and cut out the Free Gold Leprechaun Trap Sign printables. I trimmed my straws down a bit at this point too. You want them to be just tall enough to hold the sign over the gold chocolates in the bucket. Download the Free Place Card Printables here!
Using Mod Podge®, apply a thin line of gold glitter around the edges of the Free Gold Sign. Hot glue the signs to the straw once the Mod Podge® has dried.
Now the traps are ready to be filled with Gold Coins Chocolate Candy and the sign. I also added a Horseshoe Charm by tying them around the bucket with Gold Baker's Twine.
Add each of your guests' names on a small piece of White Paper Stock and sit one at each place setting of your Pastel St. Patrick's Day Party. I hope you catch a leprechaun or two! And while you're at it, catch more St. Patrick's Day fun with my Shamrock and Rainbow St. Patrick's Day Sign and St. Patrick's Day Party Favor Bags!
