Download our Free Leaf Printable here! Print it out on white cardstock, or draw your own leafy shapes onto a piece of paper. Cut out the shapes you'd like to use to create your garland using scissors. Note that using a couple of different shapes will leave you with a more interesting garland in the end! Be sure to leave the rounded end on your shape as seen on the template because you'll need that "tab" in a later step.

Lay the cut leaf shapes onto sheets of construction paper in both plain "Green" and "Holiday Green", and trace them with a pencil. You'll want to make light pencil marks so they're not as noticeable on the finished garland. Repeat the tracings to cover your sheets of paper.

Cut out the traced leaves with scissors.

Unravel the LED string light strand and lay it on a flat work surface. Note that you may bend it over onto itself if it's too long for your particular table or buffet. Add clear glue dots to the rounded tabs on each of your cut leaf shapes, and then wrap the leaves around the string light strand, pressing the glue dot onto the other side to hold the pieces of paper in place.

Remove the battery cover on your LED string light strand, and insert batteries according to package instructions.

Flick the switch on your string lights to turn them on, and then use heavy objects or clear removable tape to hold the garland in place on your table or buffet surface.

Finish styling the table with other pretty details like gold geometric terrarium candle holders with white floating candles and serving bowls. Now you're ready to show the finished garland off!
