Place vintage bicycle and arrow stamp on clear stamp block. Stamp block onto the black ink pad and completely cover image with ink.

Stamp image on bag and allow the ink to dry for a few minutes.
I loved the vintage bicycle stamp because it reminded me of those old photos of a Paris flea market. Seems like there is always a beautiful bicycle with bunches of lavender tucked inside the basket in those photos. I thought the stamps would work beautifully for this project and they did not disappoint.

These DIY bags are so cute and petite, you’ll only need about a 1/2 cup of lavender buds for the sachets. After the lavender buds are placed inside the bag, take the drawstrings and cinch the bag tightly and tie in a secure double knot. The secret to getting the most out of your lavender sachet is to give it a squeeze from time to time. This will release the scent of the lavender. If you don’t have dried lavender buds, you could also use cotton balls with a few drops of lavender essential oil.

For the last step, print out or hand write your guests names on white cardstock. Cut the names out of the paper into tags and punch holes in the top corner of the tag. Thread yellow bakers twine through the name tag, around the top of the sachet and tie in a knot.

Create a craft night and enlist the help of some friends to create an assembly line with the project. Your place cards will be finished in no time and you’ll all get to bask in the heavenly scent of lavender. Your guests will love these fun place cards and favors and you will love not spending a ton of time and expense on place cards!
