Measure out 1 1/2 cups of colored sand and pour in mixing bowl.
Pour 1/4 cup corn starch over sand in your mixing bowl and whisk until all corn starch clumps are gone.
Mix 1/2 teaspoon of dish soap into a 1/4 cup of water and mix until combined and you see a few bubbles.
Slowly pour your water and soap mixture into the dry ingredients and combine with your hands until desired wet consistency. We like to let our kinetic sand sit for 10-15 mintues before playing with it.
To create party favors, put kinetic sand in individual containers, and pass out with cute cookie cutters, dough rollers, and small animal figurines!
