Use a black marker to draw an egg shape on each Canvas. Set up a painting station including the Canvases, Pom-Poms and Clothespins. We used paper plates to hold the pom-poms, which helped keep the mess to a minimum. You can of course use the Paint Palettes to house the paint, but we decided to place the paints in DIY Wood Eggs for a fun touch! We even painted the Eggs to match the paint color inside!

Have the kids use the clothespin to grasp a pom-pom and dip it into the Paint and then paint away! Try to have the kids paint within the drawn egg shape. Our kids found it easiest to dab the pom-poms onto the canvas, but let them get creative!

Once they are done with a color, have them dispose of the used pom-pom and grab a new one for their next color.

Have them paint until their egg is completely painted and then add some cute little Stickers!

Allow their masterpieces to dry and then display! We sent our kids on an Easter egg hunt to keep them occupied while the canvases dried. These DIY Easter Egg Canvases make for fun Easter party or playdate favors, plus the kids love creating their own piece of art! Make sure to check out our Easter Playdate, DIY Bunny Chair Backers and Bunny Bait Recipe for even more Easter inspiration!
