First, let's create the DIY nest for all of the Tropical Stuffed Birds we'll putting up for adoption! Start by cutting a stack of paper strips from the Kraft Paper Tablecloth Roll. The strips of paper should be roughly 4 inches wide. Twist and bend all of the paper strips to give the effect of whimsical branches.
A Blue Plastic Serving Bowl will be the foundation of our nest. Apply a small amount of hot glue in the center of the serving bowl and adhere one of the twisted paper strips in a spiral shape. Continue that spiral shape by wrapping the twisted paper around the center spot, hot gluing as you go to secure the paper. Continue the same spiraling and gluing of the twisted paper that you started in Step 3 until the entire inside of the bowl is covered.
Flip the bowl over and repeat on the outside of the Blue Plastic Serving Bowl.
Now that the serving bowl is completely covered with the twisted kraft paper, it's time to add some details! Twist several pieces of Boxwood Leaf Ribbon Roll around the remaining twisted kraft paper strips. Encircle these at the top of the bowl, hot gluing the paper in place.
Using the remaining Boxwood Leaf Ribbon Roll and kraft paper twists, glue the paper diagonally around the outside of the bowl.
Add some color to your DIY nest by hot gluing Decorative Hibiscus flowers around the outside of the bowl. The nest is now complete!
Before the party, arrange the Rainforest Bird Adoption Center on a table that all of your little party guests can easily access. The 3D Tropical Plant Stand-Ups create a perfect backdrop for the adoption center. Start by arranging the DIY nest and all of the Tropical Stuffed Birds on the table with the printable adoption sign, adoption certificates, and name tag feathers. Next, fill a Palm Leaf Serving Tray with Pop-Arty Beads.
During the party, instruct each party guest to select a Tropical Stuffed Bird and give it a name.
Let each party guest make a necklace for their new feathered friend and themselves using Pop-Arty Beads. Don't forget to add a feather name tag for your bird.
Be sure to have each party guest fill out an adoption certificate for their new bird friend!
Now each party guest can take home their new feathered friend and matching necklaces! What a unique and adorable party favor from a wild Jungle Birthday Party!
