Start off by selecting the colors for your inspiring wooden block! I choose a soft peach and mint green color. I like to keep the sides natural wood, for a more modern look.

Next, print out the "I was not meant to be Ordinary" message and cut it down to size. Using a simple pencil, turn your paper over and on the area that is text, color it in with pencil. Flip your paper back over and trace along the lines of the text. The pencil markings on the back of the paper, should create a thin line on your block for you to trace! Download the Free "I was not meant to be ordinary" Printable here!

Grab a thin Sharpie® and trace and then fill in the message. This takes some time, so be patient.

Add some fun color by adding layers of rickrack to your wooden block. I wrapped the rickrack around the block and secured with a dab of hot glue on the backside. I also used gold glue sticks to add a few polka dots to the fronts.

Create a few additional wooden blocks to help your "I was not meant to be Ordinary" print really stand and enjoy!
