Start by creating zones on your dresser using stacks of books or magazines and a tray. We made this raw wood tray work with the rest of the overall blue and white color palette by cutting a piece of pretty patterned scrapbook paper to fit inside.

Add light and ambiance with things like a rounded lamp (this one was a lucky thrift store find!) and candles. We love the elegance of this cut-out white candle holder, and the teal glass votive is perfect for injecting a little color onto the dresser tabletop.

Any good dresser is filled with storage possibilities, so we made the most of vessels like baskets and mason jars to hold everyday essentials (think: scarves, necklaces, earrings, etc.).

Vases and oversized jars come next, and are great for displaying cut branches and flowers. This faux succulent dish adds lots of pretty color and organic texture.

Finally, it's time to turn your attention to art! We made our own leafy graphic print by, first, using a variety of hole punches to cut patterned circles out of scrapbook paper. Next, we used scissors to cut out some leaf shapes from green construction paper. After that, we used glue dots to stick the cut shapes to a piece of white cardstock paper.

Finally, we put the finished paper print behind glass in a frame, and tucked it behind the styled zones we already created on our dresser. If you don't have time to hand-make a version of this leafy print, feel free to download the Free Leaf Graphic Art Print here and frame it in your own home!
