Place a moss rock in the bottom of your mason jar. You could also use some natural moss, but that gets messy quickly. I liked these moss rocks cause they took up space and were easy for the children to handle.

Add in some fun items like these wooden spools. It would be fun to throw in other items like clock charms or “lost” items that fairies might find and want to keep around.

Use garden bugs to bring more life to the mini fairy garden. These self-adhesive ladybugs were a big hit. Not only did they add some fun color to the garden, but the fact that they are self-adhesive makes them stay put.

Cut a small amount of the clear stretchy cording. Take a fairy Charm, and tie the clear cording through here just at the end.

Using a small amount of tape, secure the clear cording to the mason jar lid.

Place the mason jar lid on the jar and secure. The little fairy will dance around. Make sure that she is “flying” in the air and not touching the moss rock.

And there you have it. One happy little fairy in her very own Mini Fairy Garden in a Jar.
