Cut the craft roll in half. Cut sheets of tissue paper 10.5” x 8.5” in a variety of colors. Place the craft roll back together on one end of the tissue paper sheet. Make sure there are 3” on each side of the craft roll. Tape the end of the tissue paper to the roll.
Tip: do not place the tape in the center where the two rolls come together.
Place two glue dots on the opposite end of the tissue paper. Begin to roll the tissue paper over the craft roll until you reach the two glue dots on the opposite end. Apply pressure so the tissue paper sticks.

On one end of the roll, tie together the end with the hot pink bakers twine, then trim the twine.

Fill the other end of the craft roll with paper confetti and trimmed pieces of the serpentine throws. Repeat step 3 and using bakers twine, tie the end together.
Repeat the above steps to make a variety of colorful confetti party poppers for the New Year!
Side note for “Mom”: The paper confetti is super easy to clean up! Within minutes I sucked it all up with my vacuum.

Make these party poppers with the kids or surprise them and add to my fun countdown bags activity and make your party “pop” this year. Most of all, enjoy a happy, safe holiday!
