Thoroughly clean and dry your glass containers. Be sure they are rated as fire-safe.
Attach your wick to the bottom of the container and tie the top to a pencil. Lay the pencil crosswise over the opening of your container so that the wick is held in an upright position.
Place your wax in a microwaveable container. Microwave on high for 1 minute. Check the wax. Continue microwaving in 1 minute increments until the wax is completely melted and is 180ºF.
When the wax is completely melted, add some concentrated candle dye or scent. Stir carefully until completely melted and a uniform color.
Pour the wax into your glass container, taking care not to disturb your wick. Let cool completely. Then remove the pencil and trim your wick to no more than ½” above the candle wax.
