
Place the shiplap bulletin board border about 2 inches away from the edge of the board. This border will go underneath the black and white striped border. Layer the black and white striped border above the shiplap. For added fun, you can add the shiplap at two corners of the board to make it look like a real picture frame.




Add the sun in the top left hand corner and secure with mavalus tape. Next, secure the clouds to the board so that it looks like they're hanging right above the top of the board. I secured these with a simple push pin. The added 3-D touch is the airplane off the edge of the left hand side. I secured these with clear, packaging tape. I liked keeping these airplanes their natural color but you could paint them or have the kids paint them.

Next, I added the title: "Our High Flying Work". "Our" and "Work" are letters from this Happy Letter Pop-Outs pack. The "High Flying" words are available for you for free. Download the free words template here.

The last step includes clothespins and mini-chalkboard signs. With hot glue, I secured the clothespins to the board. Then, I wrote "coming soon" with a chalkboard pen " on the mini-chalkboard signs. I just hung them from the clothespins so I can use them over and over again during the year.
