Open up three plastic ornaments and squirt a few drops of the black, white and orange acrylic paint inside. Close the ornaments and shake, shake, shake!

Once all the paint has been moved around the ornament open it back up and set it outside in the sun to dry. In the hot sun this takes about an hour. If you don’t have any sunshine, let them dry 24 hours indoors.

When the paint is totally dry, invite your child to fill in the ornaments with some Halloween goodies, like creepy crawly spiders and Halloween candy.

Close up the ornaments and thread a piece of yarn through the hole at the top. I took out the little red piece of ribbon that came in them. You can add a few beads at this time as well. Also, begin to wrap your stick in yarn of all different Halloween colors of your choice.

One by one hang the ornaments to the yarn wrapped stick and you’ve got yourself a pretty fabulous and festive Halloween ornament craft. Hang it outside or around your home and have an awesome Halloween season!
