
Spray paint the foam pumpkin white. Apply two coats. Allow to dry.

Using a sheet of 16x16 card stock paper, draw a shape of a mermaid tail using the Free Mermaid Pumpkin Printable Template. Cut out the tail.

Apply a thin layer of Mod Podge® to the tail.

Pull the back layer of the mermaid napkin away from the top layer. Place the mermaid scale napkin on top of the Mod Podge® and smooth out using your hands.

Wrap the edges of napkin around the back of the paper and glue.

Using a hot glue gun, attach the tail to the back of the pumpkin.

Cut the top portion of the mermaid plate to make a crown.

Fold down the end two sections of each side of the plate. Adhere to the top of the pumpkin with a hot glue gun.

Cut two "U" shapes for the eyes out of black felt. Cut six small pieces of felt to make the eyelashes (about 0.75 inches long). You can also download the Free Mermaid Pumpkin Printable Templates here to easily make the mermaid eyes.

Glue the eyes and lashes onto the front side of pumpkin.
