Cut the cardstock into 4 1/2″ x 4 1/2″ squares.

Cut a piece of cardboard about 6 inches long to make your tassels.

Wrap the embroidery floss around the cardboard appx. 6-8 times depending on the number of floss colors you are using.

Take a piece of floss and wrap around the tassel about 1/4″ down and tie in a knot. Take another piece of floss and put it through the top “loop” and tie. Trim the ends.

Poke a hole in the center of your cardstock square to thread through the end of your tassel, use scotch tape to secure on the underside.

Glue you square with tassel onto the top of the jewelry box.
Easy right? Not only are these boxes perfect for cash or gift cards, jewelry of course, would fit perfectly right inside.
