
Decide how many favors you will need. Cut strips 1 1/2″ x 12″ and cut the same number of 4 1/2″ x 4 1/2″ squares.

Wrap your strip around the widest part of your champagne flute and secure with adhesive.

Take some scrap cardstock and cut 2 small strips appx. 1″ x 1 1/2″.

Fold the small strips in half and secure one end to the inside of your circle.

Place your circle on top of your cardstock square and use adhesive to attach the two small strips to the square.

To make the tassel. Take the embroidery floss and wrap around three fingers width appx. 4-6 times depending on how many colors you are using.

Using another piece of embroidery floss, make a slip know through one end and pull tight.

Trim the ends of your tassel to your desired length.

Poke a hole in the top of your graduation cap, and place you floss through the hole.

Secure the end of your tassel with a piece of tape.
