Assemble one of the white paper hanging lanterns by inserting the silver frame to the center of the lantern.

Remove the two smaller wings from the fairy wings by cutting them apart from the larger sizes. I accidentally snipped a bit of the mesh part, but was able to easily repair it with a bit of hot glue.

Cut a piece of yellow felt into a rectangle roughly 7" long by 3" wide. Lay the felt onto the center of the tip of each wing. Trace along the edge to cut a curved shape to match the wings.

While the wings are drying, cut long strips of gold metallic wrap approximately 3"- 4" wide. Fold each long strip in half then create a fringe by snipping along the open edge of the gold metallic wrap.

Attach your newly fringed gold metallic wrap pieces to the paper lantern using hot glue. Wrap the pieces around the lantern and layer each strip over the previous ones as you go.

Once the lantern is fully covered with the metallic wrap, it's time to attach the wings. Fold the felt flap forward, and using hot glue, adhere a wing to each side of the lantern. I added smaller strips of the gold metallic wrap to cover the felt pieces for a more seamless look.

Hang the completed Golden Snitch Piñata at your party and watch as the Quidditch Seekers compete for the ultimate prize!
