
Pour one bottle of Elmer's® Washable Clear School Glue into your mixing bowl.

Add a generous amount of glitter (1 to 2 tablespoons) to the mixing bowl and stir to incorporate it.



Now add 4-6 drops of liquid food coloring into your mixing bowl and mix it in to make your slime colorful. Next, to give your slime a stretchy texture, add 2 tablespoons of water to your bowl and mix to combine it into the other ingredients.



Pour 1/2 tablespoon of baking soda into your mixing bowl and stir to incorporate it.



Now comes the magic part. Add 1 tablespoon of contact solution to your bowl. Stir together until the mixture gets harder and slime begins to form. When the slime forms into a ball and it becomes difficult to stir, remove it from the bowl and knead it together in your hands to finish mixing it.

Cut out a gift tag and punch a hole at the end of the tag. Cut a piece of Baker's Twine about 18 inches long. Fold it in half and feed the folded end in through the hole on the front of the gift tag. Feed the opposite end of the string through the loop you just created and pull it tight.

Now tie the gift tag around the stem of a red or green apple favor container. Tie a bow and cut off any excess Baker's Twine.



Whether you make red or green apple slime, both are colorful, sparkly and are the perfect compliment to a back to school apple themed party. After kids are finished playing with the slime, open the apple container and place your glittery apple slime inside. Close it up and you have a cute back to school party favor.
