Paint the surface of the ceramic pumpkin with the acrylic craft paint of your choice. (We used DecoArt Frosted Plum, mixed with an equal quantity of white acrylic paint.) Allow to dry.

Apply fine glitter evenly over the surface of your project, and brush the glitter in a downward motion using a paintbrush. This will meld the glitter to the surface of the pumpkin, giving it a glassy finish. A heavier application of glitter will emphasize this finish. Repeat with as many pumpkins as you would like to make for your wedding table centerpiece. Allow to dry for about an hour. A misting of a clear spray coating will add permanence to your project.
