Partially unfold the White Paper Linen Rectangle Tablecloth to the width of a table runner. Measure it against your table to get a width that looks right on your table. Use an iron on a low temperature to iron out the creases and folds, leaving you with a flat table runner.

Lay the table runner out on your table to determine where to place the hand stamped Christmas trees. I stamped one at each end of the table runner. Cut a triangle out from the foam sheets as a template for the Christmas tree. Next, stamp using the Cool Classic Giant Color Stamp Pad Set. Repeat until Christmas tree shape is complete.

Next, create the Christmas tree "ornaments" by color-blocking the Melissa & Doug® 200 Piece Wood Building Blocks Set. I used 2 methods. First, paint a complete side of a block. Second, paint one half of a side using washi tape to create a diagonal across the block. Paint the uncovered side with paint. When the paint is dry remove the tape which leaves you with a blocked diagonal shape on the block. Repeat as needed.

I also used 3D Geometric Shapes as Christmas Tree "ornaments", spray the shapes a bright metallic gold. Finally, paint a DIY Unfinished Wood Star Shape pink to use as the star on top of the tree.

When all of the shapes and ornaments are dry, place one on each geometric triangle of the tree.

Leave the star till last and place it on top of the tree. You now have a fabulous, fun geometric holiday table runner your guests will be sure to love.
