Before doing this craft with your students, you will want to prepare and cut the papers that they will need. First, be sure to print the Fruit of Spirit printable (you can download it HERE) and cut the printable in half, so that each student has one Fruit of the Spirit title and one bowl. Each student will also need a 6x9" piece of blue construction paper (just cut the paper in half), and a 3x6" piece of brown construction paper (you can get 6 pieces out of a sheet of construction paper.) When cutting straight lines, I like to use a paper trimmer to make it go faster.

Next, have students glue down the 3x6" piece of brown construction paper to the bottom of the 6x9" piece of blue construction paper, so that it looks like a counter or shelf. Then, they will glue the bowl on top of the piece of brown construction paper and glue the title to the top of the blue construction paper.

Then, put nine of the Self-Adhesive Fruit Shapes into the bowl, and write a Fruit of the Spirit onto each fruit sticker with a fine-tip permanent marker. (For younger students you may want to do the writing on the stickers beforehand.)

Students can take their craft home and hang it up! It's a great way to help them memorize Galatians 5:22-23 and to remember the Fruit of the Spirit! For more ideas on teaching Fruits of the Spirit, check out my full Fruits of the Spirit Sunday School Lesson Plans.
