I decided to paint my Mason jars to mimic limes, pineapples and watermelons! Once you have decided which fruit you would like to create for your centerpiece, you can begin the first coat of paint.
Each of the Mason jars took about two coats of paint (similar here) for a solid clean look. You can add additional details once the main paint color has dried, for example black watermelon seeds, pineapple checks and lime peel details.

Once you have completed painting your Mason jars, it is time to add the fun fruit to the lids! Grab your hot glue gun and have fun with creating mini fruit masterpieces! I used a combination of bright pineapple erasers and other adorable mini fruit (similar). It was fun to mix and match the colors, too.

Once the mini fruit is all secured to the top of your Mason jars you can setup the remainder of your centerpiece! I loved setting out a few of the fruit pencil sharpeners and leftover erasers on the table for an added festive look!

I filled up the mason jars with some of the fruit slice hard candies so after the party is over, the Mason jars could go home with guests and inside they would find tasty little treats!
